Surf forecast for autumn holiday

Will this be the best autumn surf holiday we've seen in years? The forecasts look amazing! Starting today (Wednesday), we'll have beautiful weather every day with plenty of sunshine and almost no wind. Even a few days with offshore winds!

You might be wondering, are there waves then? Absolutely! Waves don't form locally but come from much farther out in the North Sea, and even beyond the North Sea, from the Atlantic Ocean. Numerous low-pressure systems pass by there, creating "swell"—a type of energy displacement moving toward our coast. If we have little to no wind here, or even offshore winds, we get incredible surf conditions: clean and with only the pure swell left. This will be the case until the end of the autumn holiday! Surfs up!!!
